We begin our excursion to the Montaña de Colores on ATVs early, at 4:00 am. Our minivan will pick you up from your hotel, and we will head south of the city of Cusco, a journey that will take approximately 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we will continue our trip for about 2 more hours along a narrow road until we reach the stopping point where the ATVs are located. Here, our team will give you instructions on the use of the ATVs before starting our tour along a specially designed path so that you can enjoy the impressive views of the mountains, snow-capped mountains and the fauna of the heights.
After approximately 30 minutes of ATV riding, we will arrive at the starting point of a short 10-minute walk that will take us to the top of the 7 Color Mountain. Once at the top, we will have enough time to take photographs and admire the beauty of Vinicunca Mountain and its surroundings.
After our visit, we will return the same way we came and in the afternoon we will enjoy lunch in Cusipata. We will then continue our trip back to Cusco, where we estimate to arrive around 5:30 pm. Join us on this exciting adventure to discover the spectacular Mountain of Colors.
After the tour you can take a walk through the Plaza de Armas and its surroundings, where you can appreciate the work of Cusco artisans in the craft stores. You can also taste the famous and unmatched Peruvian cuisine in the nearby restaurants or you can simply take a break on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas and appreciate the panorama and take the classic photo to remember in a warm atmosphere despite the cold of the Cusco nights. And if you like the night around the square you will find many clubs and bars full of tourists and locals waiting to have fun.
