A 01 day visit to Machu Picchu. We offer you many options to explore the different parts of Machu Picchu with a short 02-hour walk with our guide after you. You will have free time to explore. Very important detail, no train schedule. It has departure from Cusco.
Pick up from your hotel by tourist bus and then go to the Poroy or Ollanataytambo train station according to the schedule of our train ticket. Then we will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, on the way you will be able to see and enjoy beautiful views of the Andes, the typical agriculture of the area and the Vilcanota river. Upon arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes you will be received by our transfer and board the bus (30 minutes) to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival you will have a guided tour of 2 hours and a half, which includes visits to the most important places, palaces, solar observatories, etc. After the guided tour, you will have free time at your own expense to explore Machu Picchu and have lunch at your own expense. In the afternoon we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo, then we will board our tourist bus to return to Cusco. End of our tour.
After the tour you can take a walk through the Plaza de Armas and its surroundings, where you can appreciate the work of Cusco artisans in the craft stores. You can also taste the famous and unmatched Peruvian cuisine in the nearby restaurants or you can simply take a break on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas and appreciate the panorama and take the classic photo to remember in a warm atmosphere despite the cold of the Cusco nights. And if you like the night around the square you will find many clubs and bars full of tourists and locals waiting to have fun.
